Breakfast
On request we'll serve you the best breakfast
outside in
the sunshine, or inside in your own Guest House -apartment
when
it's too cold...From 9 o´clock onwards we bring a basket full of
nice things so you can start your day without worry´s...
You can also walk to the bakery to
have your
breakfast or to get fresh bread, eat some lovely cakes, drink a coffee
or something else....
On our farm we sell the best homemade organic jams and farm
fresh eggs.
Seasonal organic fruit, such as kiwi's, apples, cherries, Sharon
fruit,lemons and oranges are also available in the season. You can pick your own
fresh
herbs in the garden to make tea or to use in your meal.
Lunch
and Dinner
In Midões and surrounding (10 km)
there is a diversity of
many different restaurants for lunch and dinner for example in our own
village we have "Midobar" with the always cheer full Victor or
"Paparoca" very cosy and with very economic prices. In Oliveira Do Hospital for
example we have Restaurant "O Túnel" and Pizeria " Johnnys". In
Tábua we have Restaurant "António Moleiro" and Restaurant
"Vira Brasa".
There is also our neighbour Louisa who coocks typical Portuguese meals and brings them to your apartment whenever you want.
But in your kitchen
all the cooking utensils are present to make yourself a wonderful meal.
Our small local supermarket in Midões has all the
ingredients to facilitate your shopping.In Oliveira do Hospital and
Tábua you also find bigger supermarkets as Lidl and
Intermarché.
One can also go to Oliveira do Hospital (10 km) to the Friday fresh
markets or to Tábua (10km)on Sunday mornings where you can
browse around and find all sorts of home-grown and locally made
products such as vegetables,cheese,meat,fish ect...
