•  We have wireless  internet at the farm
• When you stay in our guest house you are not obliged to go for horse riding.
•  We have mountain bikes for rent (VIPER) per day or per week .
• You can have relaxing massages on Quinta Da Alegria(combination of Thai and Swedish massage).
• Children up to 2 years are free of charge and children up to 8 years enjoy a 50% reduction.
• There is a lot of space for children to run around and to be mischievous.
• The guest house is accessible to  people with limited mobility.
• The farm´s courtyard is fenced in ( safer for small children)
• Rubbish and waste can be recycled. 
  We use as much as we can biological detergents to protect the environment.
• Pets, if well behaved, are welcome. (e.g. the roaming chickens)
• We have 4 dogs: Alfonso known as ´the Fonz´ , Boogie, Nico and Fred,also 4 cats(Telma,Rory Piccolo,Timo and Torre). 
• The village of Midões (800 MT. from our quinta) has all the necessary facilities such as a bank, restaurants and cafés, post office, garage and gasoline station,supermarkets,etc.,...
• One can always join in with the seasonal activities such as harvesting, picking fruit and keeping up the vegetable patch.
• The small dipping pool is shared with the hosts.
• From Quinta da Alegria you can drive to a lot of different beautiful spots in the region like:The waterfalls of Fraga da Pena,Dolmen in  Azenha,the breathtaking forest and castle from Buçaco, the slate village of Piódao,city's like Coimbra and Porto,a day to the beach or the beautiful Mountains of Estrella 
• There is a Pool table in the apartment Wobbel  
• There are instruments like; piano, guitar,didgeridoo, 2 jembés ,available. For musicians who need or want to practice or just have some fun...
