is not so good but I want to try and write something. It was
wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! The nature here is very beautiful. I love the
horses, Trudy, Milou, Lola, Quo Vadis, Lusja (all) and your kind dogs Nico,
Fons, Fred, Buggie and also `Celvi qui habite dans la forêt` (Foxy). It´s a
wonderful time in a beautiful place! I was very happy when I can came with
Liesje and feed the horses and when we rode in the nature, I on Trudy, my
mother on Lola. It is so funny that Nico sleep with us. I will come back! I
wish you and youre wonderful pets a nice time here! Merci

Liesje en João, This is
Steven. Affraid of horses. I don´t even dare to give them a carrot. I only dare
to buy a carrot for them. My wife (beautiful wife) must give it to them. I also
buy cookies for your dogs. I dare to give this to them. The cats are getting
nothing because they ask for something. You don´t do that… I enjoyed the
beautiful house. I saw it 3 years ago for the first time and this house and estate
grew!!! Within 3 years I will come back (`I´ll be back!!!). With carrots,
cookies and daily stress wich I want to leave here, I have one day left
(tomorrow) and who knows, me, the carrots and the horses will become friends!

2009 Setembro 2009 Não...não foi bom...foio muito melhor que isso. Foi spectacular. Sinceremente, ultrapassou todas as minhas espectativas. Desde logo, a quinta é demais. O sitio é lindo, todos os animais são cinco estrelas, é todas as pessoas que aqui conhecemos são vinte estrelas- a nossa anfitriá, a Liesje (para nós, portugueses ‘Alice’, mas também o João e a Josefine. Resumindo, este
fim de semana foi o melhor presente que nos podíamos ter oferecido para
comemorar os 15 anos de casados. E de certeza que não vamos esperar mais 15

May 26, 2009 We had the
most wonderfull time! Every detail was so thought out, from the fresh flowers
on the table to the pinecones for the fire! Another beautifull time in 8 Maio a 10 Maio 2009 A estadia aqui para mim foi uma surpresa preparada pela minha esposa pelas meus 51 aninhas. Uns dias bastante relaxantes e uma aproximação interessante a outra maneira de lidar com cavalos orientada por um ‘encantador de cavalos’ o Adam, que tinha vindo de Inglaterra expressamente para o efeito. Conosco estivesem também ‘Florence’ da Austria e ‘Tasse’ da Holanda. Foi uma experiência bastante enriquecedora. Obrigado Liesje Obrigado Adam Rita, Portugal

2007 26 augustus Liesje, It is with a heavy heart that we leave”Quinta d'Alegria”after 2 wonderful weeks. But as our horseriding song goes”I’m leaving on a jet plane, don’t know when I’ll be back again”, I am sure we will be back. Thanks to you,Ellen,”Boogie the bush labrador”,”Fonz the black nose”,”Fred the bush doggy” ,”Milo, Quo-Vadis, Lola, Estrella and the wonderful Lusia we had a great time.

Keith 5 april 2007 Liesje, We have stayed at quinta d'Alegria four times since the autumn of 2005 and have loved everyday we have spend here.The farm is beautiful but also has the ambiance of everyday country life allowing for a fantastic and unique experience.Great people,great annimals,lovely setting,and lot's of peace and quiet.At night you can see all the stars and hear the wild life and feel removed from life in the city.All of this,combined into great hospitality has made all the time we have spent here really fulfilling.
