we will have a picnic on the river side. Beautiful sights,long gallops, visiting little authentic villages with it's
always friendly people. The rides are about4 -5 hours each. |

Our first ride will go through the valley of river Mondego, where we´ll have our picnic, then go direction Quinta do Pisao where we'll have dinner and spend the night in an unforgettable surrounding of ambiance.

Sunday

After breakfast we go back
direction Quinta da Alegria we pass rock formations
with a remembrance on the ice age .The villages
Andorinha and Ribeira on our way give a nice
impression of the life in Portugal. |

Thursday - Sunday

4 different trails of about 4-5
hours with a picnic on our way. They will lead us through
different villages with roman ruins rivers and unforgettable
sights, rock formations and the colors and perfumes from mid
Portugal. Drinking from little wells and swimming with the
horses when the weather is warm enough .All this makes it an
unforgettable experience. |

We ride direction Varzea Candosa and back to Quinta da
Alegria. |

Friday
|
We visit the village Sevilha and camp at the river side, we
can swim with the horses in the rio Mondego. We have some
nice long gallops. And breathtaking views.

Saturday
|
We ride direction Lapa do Lobo where we visit dolmen
and can have a nice gallop with the view on top of the
world. We camp at old Roman ruins from a watermill next to
the rio Mondego. |
|
Sunday
|
|
We climb out of the valley with it's beautiful sights and
visit Póvoa de São Cosme a little village where the donkey
is still the main transport.We pass the dry rocks of Fiais
and go back home to Quinta da Alegria.

Trail 1: We cross the river"rio dos cavalos"and go
directionVarzea-Candosa.We have beautiful vieuws over the
valleys and go through a western like village.A nice gallop
and lots of walking up and downhill through eucalyptus and
pine forests. |

Monday
|
Trail 2: Sevilla is the little town we will pass today
there's a old olive mill and waterfall in the village.We go
into the valey of the mondego river with it's stunning
vieuws. |

Tuesday
|
Trail 3: We go direction Rio Mondego.A gallop on the river
bench takes us direction Póvoa de São Cosme. Big rock
formations direction Fiais where we visit the"Palheiras"a
european protected monument.

Wednesday
|
|
Trail 4:Direction Andorinha,another authentic village that
we cross,we start with a galop and go to Ribeira direction
Villa Chã.We always might meet cheppards with their herds.
|

Thursday
|
Trail 5: Covas-Percelada.Our last trail has some nice
gallops.The perfume of eucalyptus,pine,mimosa and cistus
,the flowers in spring the mist in autum make this a trail
to never forget. |
|

|

Trail 1:Easy ride to see if everybody is happy with his/her
horse we pass autentic portugues villages and
beautiful valeys.We have dinner and overnight at Quinta
D'Alegria and trie our skills to put a tent. |

Monday

Trail 2:We visit the village Sevilha and camp at the river side, we
can swim with the horses in the Rio Mondego. We have some
nice long gallops. And breathtaking views.

Trail 3: Riding direction Lapa do Lobo where we visit
dolmen and can have a nice gallop with the view on top of
the world. We camp at old Roman ruins from a watermill next
to the rio Mondego. |

is still the main transport. We pass the dry rocks of Fiais
and go to Ervedal where you have a very nice view on the
Serra Da Estrella the highest mountain from Portugal
"continental". we camp on the river side of the "Rio Seia"
close to a roman bridge.

Trail 5: We pass Quinta Do Pisão, this is an old
renovated farm "tourismo rural" where we also stay on the
picnic weekend trail B. A heavy climb takes us to Andorinha
where we and the horses have a drink, through pine forest
and vineyards direction Ribeira-Covas and back home where a
nice snack and a fresh drink awaits us as always .Tonight we
sleep again in a comfortable bed... |
